These terms apply when you access AvMap at avmap.app. By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Questions: info@avmap.app.

What AvMap provides

AvMap is a browser-based tool for visualizing airports, great-circle routes, approximate distances, airport ranges, and selected airport information. It is provided for general informational and visualization purposes only. It is not an aviation, navigation, dispatch, weather, or flight-planning service. Do not rely on AvMap for aircraft operation, flight planning, safety, or time-critical decisions. Verify information with current official sources.

Airport data, weather observations or modeled weather, and FAA airport-alert information may be incomplete, delayed, unavailable, or incorrect. Route distances use a spherical approximation and do not reflect actual flight paths, airways, air-traffic control, restrictions, weather, or operational conditions.

Age and acceptable use

You must be at least 13 years old to use the app. AvMap is not directed to children under 13. Do not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, or use it in violation of law or third-party rights.

Maps and sharing

Map routes and settings are encoded in a shareable URL when you choose to copy or share a map. Anyone with that URL can view the encoded map. You are responsible for deciding what to include and where you share it. AvMap does not save maps to an account or receive exported images.

Ownership and third-party materials

AvMap's interface and original materials belong to their respective rights holders. Airport data, map data, weather data, software, fonts, and icons may be subject to separate third-party licenses and attribution requirements. Required map attribution must remain with maps and exported images. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of third-party materials or overrides their licenses.

Availability and changes

AvMap currently has no accounts, paid subscriptions, in-app purchases, or paid upgrades. Pro screens and roadmap items are previews only and do not offer a purchasable product. No subscription cancellation or refund terms currently apply because no payment is accepted. If paid features are introduced, their price, billing frequency, renewal, cancellation, refund, and any trial terms will be shown before purchase and governed by terms presented at that time.

The service or its features may change, be interrupted, or be discontinued. Third-party services are controlled by their providers and may be unavailable or change independently.

Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, AvMap is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties that the service or its data will be accurate, complete, uninterrupted, secure, or suitable for a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.

To the extent permitted by law, the service operator is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of or inability to use AvMap. This does not limit liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, or other non-waivable consumer rights.

Privacy and contact

The Privacy policy explains the information handled by the browser app and its providers. For questions or legal notices, email info@avmap.app. The service is not currently distributed through an app store, and AvMap does not send marketing emails or text messages.

Updates

These terms may be updated when the service or its practices change. The “Last updated” date will identify the current version. Continued use after an update takes effect means you accept the revised terms, where permitted by law.
